Happy 4th: Penn State Fireworks

The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays. For years, my family and I have stayed with family near State College, PA to celebrate July 4th. We always go to Penn State to see their amazing fireworks display. It is such a fun time every year and I wanted to write a post about it so I can share it with all of you!

My family can be a little crazy when it comes to 4th of July spirit. As you can see from my red, white, and blue beaded tie, my firework print t-shirt, my goofy sunglasses, and my star headband, I went all out this year! There is nothing more fun than being in a crowd of people who are dressed just as crazy as you are. That is what I love about celebrating this holiday!

Pictures can only do so much justice to the incredible Penn State firework show. I have been going to this show for years, and I couldn't imagine going anywhere else! They get better and better every year. The best thing about the Penn State fireworks is that they have a special radio station (a lot of people bring radios to the show) that the fireworks go along with. They do an awesome job choreographing the fireworks along with the music. It is so amazing to see! Another great thing about the show is that it is 45 minutes long. For people who love fireworks, it is so awesome to be able to sit and enjoy them for such a long time.

I love the tradition of going to see the Penn State fireworks every year. For anyone who hasn't seen them, I definitely recommend it! It is such a great show and really puts you into the Independence Day spirit!
