If you read my previous What I Eat in a Day post, you will know that I am one of the pickiest eaters out there. I find it really hard to eat healthy! But, I have recently been trying to force myself to eat more veggies. I have been making some yummy vegetable recipes and even sneaking some veggies into my diet and tricking my tastebuds.
BREAKFAST

One super easy way that I sneak some leafy greens into my diet is by mixing them in with fruits into a smoothie! I love mango and raspberry, so I put them into a blender with a handful of spinach, and poof! A delicious smoothie with both fruits and some greens in there. There are tons of benefits to eating spinach and I was so happy to find a way to sneak it into my breakfast! Don't be fooled by the ugly color, you can't taste the spinach at all!
LUNCH

For lunch, I snuck even more veggies into my diet with this super greens pasta! For someone who eats a lot of pasta like me, you should at least try to get as many healthy benefits from it as possible! I believe this pasta has three servings of vegetables in it per serving, which is awesome for lunch! It has the same texture as regular pasta and you can't really taste a difference either. I just used some nature's promise tomato sauce to top off this meal.
DINNER

For dinner, I decided to make a dreaded vegetable, broccoli, taste a little better by making this crispy baked broccoli recipe! The flavor was awesome and it went well with the chicken and rice I made as well. I like to have a balance of sneaky vegetables that I can't even tell are there and some vegetables that just taste good! So, to add even more veggies to my dinner, I drank a glass of V8 juice. This juice has fruits and vegetables in it and is super delicious!
I am hoping to help out my fellow picky eaters or veggie-haters out there. It isn't hard to get some vegetables in your diet if you put in a little effort. Looking back at this post, these would be some awesome tips to get more veggies into a child's diet without them knowing (yes, I have the diet of a child). Thanks so much for reading!
