PA Wine Festival

The last two years, my parents and I have enjoyed sipping wine and listening to music at the Taste of Pennsylvania Wine Festival. It has been so much fun to find out which wines and wineries I like and which ones I don't. I definitely recommend checking this festival out!

When you first walk into the festival, they give you an over 21 bracelet and a wine glass that you can use to taste as many wines as you want (my mom and I took FULL advantage of that). There are lots of different wineries that set up booths for you to taste a variety of different wines. Even someone who doesn't traditionally like wine can probably find something they like at this festival! Some of the wines were super unique and special. The only thing I will say is that last years wine festival seemed to have a better variety of wineries.

The festival had less wineries, but did have a better variety of food this year! Last year they pretty much just had a French fry stand, but this year they had auntie annes pretzels and a really awesome grilled cheese truck! My parents and I made several trips to these food trucks throughout the day! Another cool thing about this festival is that you can buy wine by the glass or by the bottle at the winery stands. My mom and I ended up buying a couple of sangria wine slushies and sipping them while enjoying some live music. My dad bought me a couple of the wine slushies to freeze and enjoy at home as well!

It was super hot and humid the day of the festival, so I wore some distressed denim shorts from Forever21 and a light, airy top from Target. I wanted to look cute, but I needed to make sure I was comfortable all day as well. The festival was on the York fairgrounds, and because it had been raining for the last few days, it was super muddy! So, I wore some shoes that I could easily just go home and wash off when the festival was over.

I definitely recommend checking this festival out next year. I don't have that many opportunities to try new wineries, so this festival was a lot of fun for me! It is really great to help you find out what kinds of wines you like and what you wanna stay away from. It is such a fun time to sip some unique wines, indulge in some food truck deliciousness, and to spend time with close friends and family! Please give this post a like, leave a comment, and subscribe! Thanks for reading! :)
