Valentine's Day Outfit Ideas

I have always been the biggest fan of valentines day. I love all the stuffed animals and heart shaped food! Valentines day for me has always been about the fashion! I love incorporating pinks & reds into my valentines day outfits. And you can't go wrong with hearts! Here are some Valentine's day outfit options that I would definitely love to wear on the day of love.

If you're just hanging out with friends on Valentine's day, going on a casual date, or just going to class like I am, you probably don't want to go too crazy. Just a little bit of pink can turn any outfit into a Valentine's day one! In this outfit, I paired a black and white turtleneck with my favorite mom jeans. To add a little Valentine's day pizzazz, I went with some pink accents! I put on my pink faux suede sneakers from H&M and my pink jacket from Charlotte Russe. This outfit is so casual but it still looks like I made a little effort for the holiday.

I have used this picture on my blog before, but I had to recycle it for valentines day! The mauve pants and the pink faux fur coat make the perfect causal Valentine's outfit! This outfit is super casual, but the pink fur gives it that valentine's vibe. This is definitely an outfit I would wear out with my friends or to class on Vday.

I think roses and hearts are the perfect Valentine's day symbols. That's why I chose this rose patterned top for my next outfit. This top is actually from a two piece outfit that was featured in my What I Got for Christmas post. I think the pattern is so pretty! It went really well with my black ripped jeans from American Eagle and some black booties. This outfit would be perfect for either a date night or a night out with friends.

I LOVE this next outfit. I got this really gorgeous pink crushed velvet dress from Charlotte Russe or Forever21 (sorry I can't remember which) months ago with Valentine's day in mind. It's the perfect outfit for a date night or to go out for drinks with the girls. It's so flirty and fun! I paired the dress with some black booties and a black velvet choker with heart cutouts (very v-day appropriate). I love this outfit and if I was doing anything other than going to class on Valentine's this year, this is what I would wear!

These are just some of my go-to Valentine's day jewelry pieces. I am not the biggest jewelry-wearer, unless it is festive. The first necklace is a whistle with a little pink feather attached. I wore this necklace in the first outfit. I love the subtlety of the pink. The next necklace is the choker I was wearing in the last outfit. This choker came in a set and it was super cheap. Forever 21 has the BEST jewelry. It's the perfect festive piece that isn't too out-there. Lastly, I have my conversation heart earrings! You can get some variation of these earrings at Claire's almost every year. Mine came in a pack of ten pairs of earrings, so I always share them with friends when Valentine's day rolls around. This classic v-day candy is the perfect festive touch to your outfit!

Whether your're going for super casual or somewhat fancy, I hope I could give you some valentine's day outfit inspiration! I hope everyone has a safe and happy v-day. I'll be spending mine eating some heart-shaped pizza with friends. Give this post a like, leave a comment, and subscribe! <3
