Christmas Wrapping 101

I have always struggled to find creative ways to wrap my presents. I mean, how am I supposed to wrap anything that is not a perfect box?! And how do I decorate after wrapping?? I have learned a thing or two about wrapping over the years and I wanted to share a few of my Christmas wrapping hacks with all of you!

This may be an obvious one, but my first hack is reversible wrapping paper. If you are on a budget or only have a few presents to wrap, you can't go wrong with reversible wrapping paper. You can wrap tons of presents with one roll, but you get two different designs! I absolutely love this style of wrapping paper and I have been buying it for the last few years. I only have a few people to buy for and it is the best feeling to get so much out of just one roll. Plus, the paper is pretty on the inside when you open the presents!

When the wrapping paper is not reversible, there is that boring white side. One of my favorite things to do while wrapping presents is to actually use the white side! Plain white wrapping paper gives you so much freedom when decorating your present. You can put tons of different colored bows and ribbons! I bought some slide on thingy-ma-jiggers that are so easy to use! You just slide them onto your present and it looks like you took a lot of time and effort in decorating. They even come with a gift tag attached!

If you have an odd shaped gift to wrap, this next hack is perfect for you! All you are going to need is some tissue paper and some pretty ribbon. You place the object in the middle of the tissue paper and fold it up over the top. You usually need a few layers because tissue paper is pretty see-through. Then, all you do is tie it up with some ribbon and your gift is wrapped! It is so simple and easy and you don’t have to worry about finding a box to put your gift in so you can wrap it.

Something new I tried this year was making my own gift tags. All I did was find some letter stickers and some paper, and stick the names on. It was so easy and quick that I feel stupid even explaining it to you! They turned out really nice and I will definitely continue to do this in the future.

I hope some of my gift wrapping hacks have given you some inspiration in wrapping your presents this Christmas. Thanks for reading and have a Merry Christmas!! :)
