My Fall Evening Routine

I definitely feel like I pamper myself a lot more in the fall and winter seasons compared to the hotter seasons. My body absolutely hates the cold so it needs all the love it can get during these cold fall days! I know it is still boiling hot outside, but these are some of the products, & routines I use to make fall a little more bearable for my cold-hating body.

The first thing I like to do on a fall evening is take a nice, hot shower. Not only does it feel great after being cold all day, but hot showers are just so relaxing! I use the Dove Daily Moisture shampoo and conditioner (in the bottom left of this photo). My mom and I have used them the last few years and they have definitely made a difference! I love how soft and silky the conditioner makes my hair feel and they smell amazing! Plus, dove is such an easy line of products to get your hands on. On days where I don't wash my hair, I like to use batiste dry shampoo (not pictured) the next morning. After washing my hair, I run some Avon Argon Oil Treatment (in the little yellow bottle next to the shampoo) through the ends of my hair. This product has done WONDERS for my split ends and made my hair so much smoother and easier to brush through. When it comes to body wash, I swear by Avon's Silky Vanilla Shower Gel (next to the oil treatment in the bottle with the hook) for the fall. It has the PERFECT fall scent and leaves my skin super hydrated! I love using this product in the shower everyday. I do have areas that are a little more prone to breakouts. On these areas, I use St. Ives Apricot Body Scrub (next to the Avon shower gel, and yes I realize the product pictured is the face wash and not the body scrub, I ran out cause I love it to much!) on the problem areas on my skin and it works like a charm! When it comes to my face, I love alternating between Avon's Clean Illuminating Rich Cleansing Foam and St.Ives Oatmeal Scrub (top left). I get the driest skin on my face when it gets cold outside, and both of these products work wonders in hydrating my skin and keeping it feeling fresh. They still can't completely get rid of my dry skin problem though, so I use any kind of hydrating face masks (top middle) as often as I can on cold fall evenings! They really help to keep my face from getting too dry.

There's nothing I love more in the fall than getting cozy. The first thing I do when I get out of the shower is throw on a super over sized cozy sweater (from H&M) and some fluffy socks (from the dollar spot at Target)! You also can't go wrong with a Halloween themed blanket in the fall, at least until October is over. I made my room the coziest it could possibly be by putting up some fairy lights. I love how they make my room have the perfect lighting for a fall evening! Once I get all cozy, I like to make myself a cup of tea (in this case it was apple cinnamon tea) and grab a snack (in this case it was white chocolate chip snicker doodles!!!) The tea and cookies were the perfect duo and they would go so well with chilly fall weather. Too bad it's 400 degrees outside. While I am drinking my tea and eating my snack, I like to work on some homework or work on my blog while listening to some music. I actually made a fall playlist this year with some of my favorite songs to listen to when it gets a little chiller outside.

I hope I could give you some insight into some new products, routines, and ways to cozy up your evenings this fall. I have never done a blog post like this before so i would love some feedback on whether or not you liked it and if I should do more posts like this! I hope you enjoyed.

Thanks for reading! :)
