My Take on Bohemian Style

According to Google, "the essense of Bohemian style is free and flowy fabrics." It seems like way more than that to me. Boho isn't a style that I rock very often, but these are a few pieces that I have that I consider Bohemian and how I like to style them!

I reaaally love this dress from Shein. Unfortunately, when it came in the mail, it had a bunch of holes in it (that doesn't stop me from wearing it obviously). So I was disappointed by that but I still love the dress. It is super flowy and comfortable. I sometimes just wear it to lounge around the house! I This is one of the only pieces that I own that I consider 'bohemian.' I definitely love this edgy, comfy style I decided to take a close up picture of my jewelry so you guys could get a closer look. The sun and moon necklaces are actually connected and I added a choker to add even more to the layered look! I love how they turned out. The bralette I am wearing is from Charlotte Russe. I struggle to match this bralette with outfits because its not quite maroon but not quite pink. I have to match it with black and white so this dress goes perfectly!

I love these bohemian style pants. I got them years ago at target and they give my outfit such a hippy vibe. The necklace I am wearing has a sunflower pendant on it so I thought it added even more to the hippy vibe! I think hippy and bohemian can definitely go hand in hand. I loved matching this outfit with this brown hat, I have been loving wearing hats recently! I also decided to match this outfit with some brown leather flip flops that have since broken (RIP).

There wasn't much bohemian going on in this outfit besides the top from Target. So I opted for a mirror selfie (excuse my tooth brush)! I love the color of this shirt, yellow is one of my favorite colors to wear. I love the paisley print on it and the flowy bell sleeves! I really enjoyed wearing this shirt this summer. Unfortunately, the clasps holding the shirt together fell off and I had to start holding it together with a clothes pin. I was really disappointed in the quality of this shirt. It's so cute but it definitely wasn't worth the twenty bucks I spent on it.

Surprise surprise, more yellow! I have had this puffy-looking off the shoulder top for a few years and I definitely don't wear it enough. I think it is so flattering and it can go with just about anything. I paired it with these high waisted shorts but it could just as easily go with jeans or even a skirt. Oh my god, imagine this top with a brown corduroy skirt! I am also wearing some plain white sandals and a necklace from Avon along with the same choker I mentioned earlier in the blog post. I had a lot of fun wearing this outfit and the flowyness/puffyness of the top definitely gives it that bohemian feel.

As you can see, I am not huge on the bohemian trend but I definitely enjoy wearing it sometimes. I had a lot of fun throwing together these outfits and I hope you enjoyed it!

Thanks for reading! :)
