If you've never been to Longwood Gardens in Chester County, Pennsylvania, you're definitely missing out. This place is filled with beautiful flowers, refreshing fountains, and tons of trails to walk on. I had the most amazing day exploring the Gardens with my parents! Here's a few of my favorite things I experienced at Longwood:

First, I have to talk about the amazing water displays that Longwood Gardens has to offer. Before the first photo was taken, my mom and I were standing just a few feet away from the fountains, waiting for the fountain show to begin. We didn't know how big the splash zone would be and we got completely soaked (check out our reaction in the second picture) before making our way to a more comfortable place to watch the fountain show, which was AMAZING by the way! The third photo is one of my favorite photos that I took that day. I thought the fountain was so cute and looked like something you'd see in a movie or something. I thought it was so cool. The last photo shows the stairs with water cascading down them that amazed me and my parents. We thought it was such a pretty touch to the Gardens and we spent at least ten minutes taking pictures of them.

I could go on and on about all of the beautiful flowers that they have at Longwood Gardens. I am not that big on flowers, but I was amazed at all the types of flowers and colors I saw around me. The first photo shows one of the greenhouses at the Gardens. It was so so so hot in there but believe me, it was worth it. There were such beautiful hanging baskets of flowers and tons of other beautiful things to look at in the greenhouses. The last three photos are just a few of the flowers I saw when I took a walk through Longwood's massive flower garden. If you are a fan of flowers, you would absolutely LOVE this flower walk.

One of my mom and I's favorite parts about exploring the Gardens is that you can do it with a drink in your hand. It was SO hot that day and it was so nice to be able to sip a refreshing black cherry vodka lemonade as I walked around and looked at the flowers and fountains. It was such a nice touch to our little Longwood Gardens adventure and as you can see we were loving every minute of it!

Since a fashion blog is what I am trying to go for, I have to say a little something about the outfit I wore to Longwood! I have been OBSESSED with overalls lately and even though it was so hot that day, I just had to wear my new overalls from Shein. These overalls were featured in my last blog post, so if you haven't read that yet, go check it out! I threw on a striped crop top from Forever21 (which is unfortunately not being sold anymore) and a pair of my mom's sandals and ta-da! It looks like I have my life together.

I loved this quote that was peaking out on one of the trail walks at Longwood. "A garden, to be a work of art, must have the soul of the native landscape in it." I think that this quote embodies the Gardens and makes them such a lovely place to be. If you are interested, check out what Longwood Gardens has to offer you!
